Help Us Document Offloading Experiences
We want to hear from you. If you’ve experienced being offloaded or faced unnecessary scrutiny when trying to leave the Philippines, sharing your story can help us advocate for change and raise awareness about the rights violations that travelers are facing.
Here’s what to include when telling your story:
- Your Experience: Describe what happened, including details about where and when the offloading occurred.
- The Process: What were you asked by immigration officers? Were you subjected to secondary questioning? What documents did you have to provide?
- Personal Impact: How did this experience affect you—financially, emotionally, or otherwise?
- Optional Information: You can choose to share your name or remain anonymous. If you would like your name changed for privacy reasons, please let us know.
You can send your story through our Report an Issue page, which allows you to remain anonymous if you prefer. Please indicate if we can use your real name, or if you would like us to change your name to protect your identity.
