About Us

Rights Across Nations (RAN) is a newly established organization, founded in 2024. While the organization itself is new, our founding team has been working together for over 15 years on projects that challenge corporate practices and defend the rights of individuals. Initially, our work focused primarily on holding corporations accountable for exploiting people, with occasional involvement in government-related cases.

However, as we saw a growing need for more focused efforts on civil rights issues worldwide, we realized we could make a larger impact by addressing these specific areas. With that in mind, we formed RAN to tackle discrimination and civil rights abuses that often go unnoticed or unresolved.

Though our organization is based in Switzerland, this is largely due to the country’s strict privacy laws, which ensure that individuals and organizations speaking out about civil rights are protected from government prosecution. Our mission is global, and we are committed to addressing issues across borders, bringing attention to the gaps in civil and political rights protections under international treaties.
